- Wedding: August 2011
I recently went to my cousin’s wedding in which I rang a bell to honor our granfather who has passed. It was a bell my grandfather owned. It was an honor for me to be included in my cousin’s wedding and it was touching to honor him in such a way. My grandmother suggested I do the same thing and have my cousin ring the bell at my wedding.
Lovely idea but-
I have another grandfather who has passed and my Fiance has 2 grandmothers and a grandfather who has passed. One grandmother’s widower has since remarried.
I would love to honor these people in some way, but I’m not sure how. I would feel bad not having my cousin ring the bell at my wedding, but I want to honor everyone equally.
Right now, I just have a moment of silence written into the ceremony, but any other ideas are welcome!
