My honey just called me because he had an interview this morning. And it went so well….they offered him the job on the spot!! (BTW, he was hunting for over a YEAR!!! And he even took unpaid gigs at night while working at a regular paying job during the day)
It’s not only his dream job, but it means a bit more money, which means more savings, more financial security, and a new car sooner rather than later **knock wood** because our AC in our car is totally dead and it’s like 95 right now and we are dying.
I am so happy I’ve been dancing around.
Now, time to treat myself to a $20 haircut and a pack of cupcakes so I can write CONGRATS on them haha. (And I’m not baking them because that would mean I have to turn on my oven and did I mention it’s 95 outside? I’m not trying to kill the house AC too LOL!!!!)

It’s good to hear positive stories like this. It seems like I read so often about people not getting jobs or doing something they hate. It’s wonderful to hear about someone landing their dream position!! Congrats to you both!

Thanks!!!! I’m so happy. I totally stress about money all the time because I work from home full time and I’m the main source of income, which I hate because I feel so nervous about taking time off or taking a class in my free time or anything that might “rock the boat”. This is going to be a big stress relief.

I’m going to get like a dozen minis. And then force him to eat them!! hahahaha
When we first started dating, he made me his “signature dish”….TWO Krispy Kreme doughnuts warmed up, then smothered in vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup.
Um. Did I mention I’ve been trying to lose ten lbs before the wedding? I wonder why!!
