Eek! I’ll be thinking of you guys. I know how scary it is to not know exactly where your pet is. I’m sure he’ll turn up.

Those things can travel further than you would imagine!  We had some when I was little, and they kept getting out of their cages.  They would turn up in the strangest places!

The kids I babysit for had a hamster.  It would get out, explore the house, then would go sit in their Mom’s bedroom and wait for her to put him back in his cage.

Hope you find him soon!!!

Good luck!

My old hamster, Mimi, would do this all the time! I would put her cage on the ground in the room I thought she was in and leave it open with food and water. Usually the next day when I came back to check she was asleep in her nest.

Be careful where you step!  This happened to my friend with his pet mouse and he took a step one day, and ooops, he found his pet!

I agree that they show up in the strangest of places. My hamster was in the fridge one afternoon (nobody put him there, of course). My roommate opened the fridge and screamed! The hamster was standing up on a pizza box on the top shelf! He was chilly so I snuggled him before putting him back home in his cage 🙂

My parents would always put a spoon of peanut butter out when our hampsters would get loose.  Good luck!
