I know there are a lot of American bees on here.. I just really wanted to send all of my love and strength out to those affected by the bombing in Boston. I can’t even fathom how they must be coping. If there are any bees from Boston or who were in the area for the marathon, I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are safe and that those who have been affected are being taken care of. My heart goes out to those affected by such scary and tragic events.
Please keep the people from Boston in your prayers and thoughts.

@Miss_Lala: Luckily, everyone that I know that was there is safe. One got hit by debris but is okay. I can’t imagine the pain so many families are going through tonight. And I can’t imagine seeing something like that, like so many of my friends did today. I live an hour from Boston and the Marathon brings lots of my friends to the city for the day, including 2 running in it. Sending all my thoughts to everyone!

@Jw1724: I’m glad everyone you know is okay, especially the person who was hit by debris. I’ve seen some photos (please don’t look them up, they are horrible) and it really breaks my heart. What’s worse is this tragic event will affect the people of Boston for years to come.. When next years marathon comes around there will be so much fear and anxiety.

I was volunteering at the first water station right behind the finish line. I grabbed my friend’s hand and we ran like hell after seeing and hearing the explosions. So surreal. Home safe now.
