- Wedding: May 2013
I found WeddingBee right before I got engaged last November (he proposed on December 23rd). I started a wedding blog within the first week of our engagement, with the hopes of becoming a Bee blogger. I kept up with my blog on a seriously regular basis, even though I was way, way outside of the 6 month limit. I eventually applied over the summer, but was rejected.
It was discouraging and I’ll admit, I let life get in the way of blogging as a result. Lately, though, I’ve caught myself thinking “oh, I should blog this. . .” Today a friend who lives a few states away inquired about the state of my blog and I feel like that was the final push I needed. I really want to start it up again and apply to be a Bee blogger – and get accepted! 🙂
That’s where you all come in: I know from reading the other Bees’ blogs that when they weren’t accepted the first time around, they posted on the boards for input and help. I would love, love, love any insight that anyone is willing to provide. I was going to spend some time re-vamping and editing before I wrote this post, but then decided that I should leave it in its current state because that’s the state it was in when I was rejected. We’re getting married in May, so I meet the six month qualification, but I also want to get this going ASAP so I don’t cut it too close!
I know we aren’t supposed to put links to our blogs in posts, so please comment if you’re interested and I’ll PM it to you. . .or just PM me. I’m really excited about this second go-around and have a good feeling about it. Looking forward to any/all responses! 🙂
