I know right!!  I can’t stand that… And I’d say 98% of the time when I’m on WB I’m on my iphone.

OMG mine is SO ridiculous on WB. Seriously makes me type gibberish. It changes real words into nonsense! I just don’t get it.

Honestly though sometimes my iPhone has horrible autocorrect in text messages too. The other day I typed “holy crap” and it changed it to “holy craigslist.” Wtf?

If I make a typo, I have to backspace the entire word or else it tries to combine two separate words and make a brand new word. Weird.

I had to turn the autocorrect on my ipad off. It seemed to think that the English language was some magical, make-believe language that allowed it the freedom to do whatever the fuck it wanted at all times. Example: I type, “We went out to dinner last night with Shayna” and ipad interprets what it thinks I meant and spits out, “Cobbleslubfernixle Bob.” I’m not even exaggerating. It made me want to punch myself in the face. IT friend told me that the ipad is “supposedly” programmed to learn a little and eventually the autocorrect mistakes for him vanished.

Honestly, I’m not willing to wait. It was either turn it off or chop it into small pieces and bury it in the woods…ironically, my iphone has never had a single issue.

I only use my ipad now, my laptop is collecting dust lol. I love auto correct for most situations because it corrects the simple words I may have forgot a letter on or something, but it’s terrible on the bee. I check my posts before I enter to make sure everything makes sense because the words at times just make no sense at all.

@graciebee:  My iPad caused a very awkward situation for me. I went to comment on a  Facebook photo that a young child was adorable. Autocorrect changed it to “doable”! Yeah, so I commented, “Awww she is so doable”. Yikes lol. Didn’t notice for hours.

YES! I considered posting a thread about this today because it was driving me up a wall and I had reached the end of my rope with it. Hopefully the admins can find a fix!

@s2bmrscook:  YES! I cannot stand it and can’t figure out how it comes up with some of its crazy phrases. They make me giggle and then I’m annoyed.
