I would request that someone else handle my ring. She’s rude and unprofessional and I would complain.

Ew. What’s wrong with people? She was probably in a terrible mood because she realized she’s a sad little person who has to insult others for satisfaction.

@FutureMrsJohnson_:

@Taeyers:   +1 to you both

She’s a nasty lady. Man, there was just a bride on here talking about a seamstress who was so rude to her. First of all, what is wrong with these people? Secondly, do they really think that this is a good business practice?

I mean, I guess at least this lady is employed, its not like her own business… but still!

I would complain to the manager and ask that someone else handle the ring. However, next time I would take it to a different place. I’ve had better luck with professional people at family owned jewelers, personally. But I think any store would be better. I just don’t like to give business to bad business people, personally… and if that store hired a witch like that, they mustn’t know much about customer service, that’s for sure!

I wouldn’t trust the entire stoe after that. I would definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

Yikes.. do you have to go to this jewelry store for sizing? I would go somewhere else.

I’m pretty anal about customer service, I don’t expect FABULOUS customer service, but if the attendant is coming off rude, I will turn around and walk out.

Holy shit… you guys are saying complain to a manager, I might have punched her!  Definitely file a formal complaint, it’s just a shame you didn’t get it on tape! I would have asked to see her manager immediately, and if she came up with some excuse, I would have left my business card and insist the manager or owner called me when they got back.

I am sorry that happened… but, resizing plated SS is actually not easy, and most places will not do it because it cannot be done well…  Plat does not adhere to SS< so you need to plate with nickle first…  And the process can cause the layers to crack and flake.  So I hope they are able to do it for you.

Oh hell no, I would not let them touch it, and I would notify the manager about that kind of unprofessional BS.

@SimpleeAmbur:

I work for that company and can definitely say that not everyone is like that!!! I would call ahead and see when the manager is working and pick it up that day. I might also suggest asking for the home office/customer service phone number.

I know the company spends time and money on customer service training(because I had to go through all of it haha) and it’s really disappointing to hear stories like this when I know myself and others work really hard to help customers and promote the brand.

Please please please at least complain to the manager if not the customer service line.

I would take my ring somewhere else. How rude to behave that way.  Unacceptable!

I’ve read other posts here at the bee about how some girls are treated once the SA realizes that they have a sim versus a diamond.. I bet many (NOT saying ALL) sales people in fine jewelry stores negatively regard budget friendlier jewelry like silver, cz’s, moissanite etc.

Silver is just not valued as gold or platinum is. Moissanite and CZ etc are not valued as a real diamond is. It’s a $$ thing and also a commission thing!

Sorry you had to go through that. Argh! I would definitely go elsewhere. I know finding someone to size silver can be difficult. Good luck!
