@mtbikelover:  sorry to hear that! Is there another DJ team you can be assigned to from that company? I’m sure they rather try to accomodate you than lose you all together as a client, (getting your deposit vs. getting full contract payment)

If this company can hook you up with a different team then that would be a much better option. Be calm and rational about it when you speak to the owner, but make it clear that you are willing to forfeit your deposit over this and find someone new.

@mtbikelover:  Our DJ was sort of awkward, but since his job was to play music, not to talk, it was fine.  What are you expecting your DJ to do??

@mtbikelover:  I’m so glad it worked out for you. I guess the extra money was worth it and all the reviews are true! 🙂

Yea – that’s a huge problem.   My phone consult with my DJ was awesome and she basically told me how she keeps a crowd dancing without me even asking.

She also said a DJ’s best friend is a bride and groom that dance themselves.  Because people follow wherever the bride and groom are.

@mtbikelover:  OH, yeah, that makes sense!  I was thinking…”Um, it’s just music, who cares?”  But it’s no longer an issue, right, since the company was receptive to your concerns. =)
