My maid of honor has been amazing and she is putting a lot of work in to planning my bridal shower. I want to show her how much I appreciate her. I don’t have a lot of money to spend but I need some suggestions on hostess gifts. She is a new mom, loves knitting, gardening and decorating her house fyi

I had 2 home-town showers and one shower where I currently live. For the home-town showers, the hostess gifts were flower pots shaped like teacups and coffee mugs. I filled them with flower seeds, a mini bottle of wine, chocolate, and home-made bath salt. For the other shower (thrown by 2 of my BMs) I got them each a cute t-shirt. I think I averaged maybe $5-$10 per gift.

My mom gave the hostesses of both my showers a gift. I didn’t realize she was doing it but it worked out great because I forgot about it!!

Yes, I picked her up some gift items while I was on a trip shortly before the shower. I got her a nice thing of preserves and some fancy tea.

We didn’t have showers. My mom hosted our e-party and we got her a custom blanket of her dog (she’s a pit lover) for about $80 and my aunt a bottle of dom perignon at about $150 (she’s hosting our rehearsal dinner).

The hostess of my shower was a family friend and my mom got her a gift… some kind of cool cooking stuff from Williams Sonoma. I don’t know exactly what though.

Yes, I gave them wine from local breweries as they really like them 🙂

A bracelet from a jeweler at my local farmer’s market. I’m friends with her daughter and she said she never wears necklaces, just bracelets.

I got them all a beautifully packaged fancy soap from Fresh. (Along with a note that said: Something for your “shower” to thank you for throwing mine!)

I got candles & lotions for one shower, the other was for my grandma & her sister, so I got some nice little decor things for their houses that fit them.
