The place where I bought my dress moved to a new location that doesn’t have A/C so I got to see what it’s going to be like on my wedding day since it’s outdoors. Well… I was so flipping hot!!! And my dress is NOT a big heavy dress. My legs got really sweaty and were rubbing against each other and it was extremely uncomfortable and frustrating.
Anyone have any suggestions? I’m thinking of wearing some lacy leggings under my dress but I’m having trouble finding some that are sexy enough but don’t go down to my ankles. I don’t even want them going below my knees.

You can use ani-perspirant on your thighs- stops the chafing.
There is also a product for runners that stops chafing-Bodyglide.
You could also wear pettipants- a divided skirt. It doesn’t have to be the most elegant lingerie. You can take them off at the end of the night so your Darling Husband doesn’t see them.

cut off the feet or some of the leg of fishnet stockings it is what we did at the living history museum. can you imagine wearing a big old dress with four petticoats when it is nearing 100 degrees? It is also a great idea to rig a tiltable fan for under your table or even just off to the side somewhere and blow dry every so often.

@julies1949: Those are a good idea. I also think baby powder helps.

I was wondering about this myself. Baby powder doesn’t last long enough for me, especially when I’m sweating a lot. I like the petti pants idea but worry they are too long, maybe there are petti shorts?

I haven’t tried it yet, but there was another thread about chafing under your wedding dress and lots of Bees recommended this product:
