@alicia1745:  Ouchie!  Do you happen to have any aloe or vitamin E around the house?  If not, try egg whites or vinegar.  Good Luck!

You can take an NSAID pain killer to help with the discomfort.  Also, if you have an kind of topical treatment like Lidocain, that could help.

I burn myself on a regular basis (I’m a Chef and it’s kind of an occupational hazard)  Vinegar works really well, just plain old white vinegar, soak your fingers in it and it will take most of the sting away. Three hours after the original contact burn though sounds like you may want to hit the pharmacy tomorrow and look for a burn cream with some silver nitrite in it. I always have some in my purse and the stuff works wonders.  I hope you feel better soon 🙂

@alicia1745:  Glad to hear the egg whites are helping.  Hope you were able to get some sleep!  You might want to also take some pain reliever.
