Hi Everyone,
I have a question for those of you who got married/are getting married in NYC. How did you go about choosing/finding hotels to work with to reserve rooms for your out of town guests? I’m kinda at a loss when it comes to this aspect of planning and was hoping you ladies might be able to help me out!

I tried to find two hotels in walking distance from the reception. I went to a few hotels and took a quick tour and then worked with them to block off the rooms. They would hold 30 rooms for me, and if they book up, they will give us more. Then I put them on the wedding website.

Oh, and you should also ask your coordinater at the reception. They usually have a list of hotels they work with or can recommend. where is the reception going to be?
