Hampton Roads Bees!
I’m having a whole lot of little bit of trouble getting into contact with hotels to discuss/set up blocks for our November 2012 wedding. I’ve honestly lost count of the unanswered emails and voicemails I’ve left for various representatives I’ve been refered to, and I’m starting to get really concerned that I will leave my guests high and dry.
My Fiance and I are getting from the HR area and are getting married @ the Water Table in VB near the oceanfront, but are planning long distance from San Antonio.
Do you all have any hotel recomendations or strategies for just getting a response? I thought marketing people for these resorts work for commission, but clearly, I must be wrong lol.

the hilton is normally pretty good about that stuff and if you go a little further from the oceanfront in vb theres a hotel called the westin it is beautiful and they deal with weddings a lot and booking blocks of rooms

We used the Ocean Beach Club Resort right on the boardwalk. (My wedding was April 28th, so this was recent!) My contact who I booked with is not longer working there, however, the woman who took over is very responsive. Her name is Sassie Grissom and her e-mail is: [email protected]
The owner of the Resort (PHR) also owns 6 other properties on the boardwalk, so they will likely be able to find something to suit your needs!! Good luck!!

Sassie is geat! My sister works with her. If you give her your budget she’ll choose a hotel that fits

I live a few blocks from the VB oceanfront. The Westin is lovely. The Hilton down there has great service, too.
