It’s a bit further than what you asked, but I can’t say enough good things about the Hartstone Inn in Camden Maine! It is a small b&b run by a husband and wife. The food is out of this world and the rooms are awesome.

In Boston we recently stayed at the Fairmont Battery Wharf in the gold building. It was also incredible! It’s our new favorite Boston hotel

Also, the Hartstone has cooking classes that are done with just the two of you & Michael the chef! So fun 🙂

I am from NJ ten minutes outside of Philadelphia and I highly, highly recommend the Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia. You might not think so, but within a 20-30 minute drive of the city, NJ has amazing farms with apple picking, pumpkin picking, fresh apple cider, etc. (springdale farms is beautiful has amazing pies!!). There are also vineyards in South Jersey close by as well. Also, being in the city, Philadelphia has so much to offer and has recently been dubbed the new New York. It has actually more restaurants and a better food scene, a huge craft beer scene complete with pop-up beer gardens everywhere. Fee outdoor movies in the parks, shopping, broadway productions at the Kimmel Center, the list goes on.

Hotel Monaco is where I am getting ready and staying at for my wedding. It is a boutique hotel, so it isn’t cheap but not insane either. PM if you want some further info 🙂 congrats and have an amazing tme on your honeymoon!

Watkins Glen Harbour Hotel in Watkins Glen, NY. 🙂 Not east coast, but on the water of Lake Seneca in the Finger Lakes wine region, tons of amazing wineries around, great hiking close by and the hotel is beautiful. Wakins Glen and surround area has some amazing restaurants too and the downtown is so cute. We just went about 3 weeks ago for our anniversary and kept commenting on how beautiful it would be in the fall – i wouldnt be at all surprised if we went back in October! And we are generally not “repeat vacationers”, we like to explore new areas.

I absolutely love Boston too, that’s where we went for our last anniversary, but they’re two very different types of vacations. This is definitely more relaxed and laid back.
