It depends on what part of the island you want to stay….I prefer the Four Seasons in Wailea.  I know a few people who liked the Grand Wailea just up the road.

@redbullfanatic: The Grand Wailea is amazing.

We always stayed down the beach from it in condos (Elua I think they are called) so we could have multiple bedrooms and a kitchen.

We stayed at The Westin – The Hyatt and a few other hotels are also on that strip – we liked it because we could walk to other hotels to eat and there was also a shopping village there – Our hotel also had a free shuttle to the town of Lahaina which is full of shops and restaurants!

I was told there are no all inclusives but a lot of hotels include things like free breakfast or a certain amount resort credit to use anywhere in the hotel or free nights with x number of nights.
