I’m sorry that this is happening to you.
There are other options for getting a house. I can’t afford a house payment and hefty down payment and all that, so we’re looking for homes that are rent to own. I’m not sure how the market is in your area, but around here we found some really nice places that the owners would allow us to rent to own.
Look at the bright side, if you didn’t get approved for this house, maybe it’s because there is a bigger and better house in your future.

@tootie664: thanks. I guess we did get approved, I was just hoping it would be FHA and we would only have to put 3.5% down. Sigh…. its ok though..everything does happen for a reason. When you deal with foreclosures, there are so many more rules that come into play too.

UPDATE: The bank was royally screwing us. We were referred to a broker that our best man used. We were approved for FHA and in less than 2 hours! Geez, wasn’t that easy! I’m so excited and so nervous…hopefully the house is still available and will be ours …. MUAH HA HA (insert evil laugh here)
