Have you look at the local craigslist?  Also, local property managers could help you.

Definetly look at craigslist. I know a work friend of mine found a beautiful home with fenced in yard and I actually thought they bought it until she corrected me by saying they were renting! I’ll keep an ear out as I grew up in that area, kinda-Lancaster and there are always tons of houses to rent there.

Can I ask why you’re looking to live south/southeast? Have you spent much (or any) time in Columbus?

I only ask because in terms of location… that’d probably be last on my list. It isn’t very close to the “fun” parts of Columbus and it tends to be a bit more rural… although it IS cheaper so that is a plus.

If you have any questions about locations and such please feel free to PM me! I have lived here for about 8 years and have lived in quite a few different areas 🙂

@CorgiTales: Actually Canal is about 15 mins from CBUS. 🙂 Closer to downtown than most. Lived here all my life and had to commute there from Capital for about 2 yrs. 33 sucks, but you do it!
