Hello
I’m looking for a fall wedding with an outdoor ceremony preferably at the same location as the reception. I’m trying to spend less than $8k for everything (venue, food, alcohol, dj, optional flowers, linens, photographer & video). Is this possible? I’m ok finding my own vendors etc but what is the best venue?
What are some of the prices other brides have seen for different locations? I’ve spoken with a lot that I’ve seen recommended as budget-friendly and they turn out to be $17k or something. What are venues you’ve talked to charging for what night and what is included?
Thanks!!!

We got married 4/28 at Amber Springs in Montgomery. It was $5700 for the venue, but it is cheaper on Fridays and Sundays. I recommend it because they allow you to choose your own vendors! Check out some of my older posts, my photographer is excellent and very affordable! I did my own flowers to save $$. My total wedding cost was $12k though. Just a thought. PM me if you have any questions!

Check out some of the local parks! Our Reception venue was in League City (about 1/2 between Houston and Galveston) and we paid a $450 deposit that we got back and $450 rental fee. They provided all the tables and chairs and the space was great. Also I think that the Gallery downtown is about $2000 but I am not 100% positive. They were on the list too for us, and you can bring in your own vendors.
Hope This Helps

This may end up being over your budget ( not sure on your guest like) but I’d look into The Orchard at Caney Creek. This is outside of Houston, just a heads up. This is also outside of Houston, but very decently priced and you bring in all your own vendors- Caney House. Both have space to get married and have reception, if you need any other suggestions more targeted to a specific area feel free to PM me.

This may help. There is a new venue that has opened in Atascocita, It was the country club, but has been turned into a wedding venue and resturant. They have several beautiful outdoor places to get married and a banquet hall for the reception. They do catering, photography, DJ, and anything else you may need, I used IncrEdible Delights for everything on my wedding day, but that was before they acquired this new venue. If they would have had it then I would have booked there. Here is there website if you need more information.

I don’t know if 8k will cut it in the houston area, but maybe if you go further out. I got married in Austin and the prices were similar, and it was around 15k total (5.5k just for the venue)
how many guests are you having?

I just put a deposit on my venue/ceremony place. It a private property owned by a man called Ernie Weatherford its in the northeast part of Houston. It is 5 acres of land and he has it divided into 3 sections. The first has a home with a dj booth, outside pa system, ceremony style living room and out side has a 1,500sqft deck and infront a stage for a band or your wedding party you get it from noon-noon the next day and is $1,000 for the 24 hr rental of his property the second is a small cabin with a shower in the womans bathroom and a mans restroom and a stove inside. also has a ooutdoor PA system and it has a double deck and a huge space all the way back to the lake and that is $750 for 24 hrs. The 3rd space is the area with a little gazebo thing and is infront of the lake ceremonies usually take place there.
You can find a video on youtube of the property by typing in “Private Property Houston” and there are 2 vids”
Good luck!
