The dress is beautiful. However I do have some advice on this type of dress. I actually did try on a gown at davids bridal when I was looking for a reception gown and I tried one on that was similar to this one with the same fabric only it was shorter. The problem with the dress was the quality of the fabric. It felt very cheap and was quite uncomfortable to wear. That’s just my personal opinion but if you love the dress go for it. I love the design just the fabric was definately not for me. I suggest trying it on before you buy it.  🙂

This the one I had tried

I’d want to see it in person. They make a bridesmaid dress with the same fabric (you could find that even for a party dress sand it may be cheaper??) but I saw it in the pink at a bridal show. TBH it looked like the model had rolled around in mud, DB washed the dress and stuck her in it. Just not pretty. But, I digress it could have been lighting….

I actually prefer the pink one, it looks more natural and soft and flowy. But I definitely agree with pp that you should go see it in person cos that will make all the difference

I think the dress is really pretty in blue! Personally, I like the blue over the pink-ish color. If you have tried on the dress and you like it, the dress is totally appropriate for your 1 year aniversary party.

@tulipandtummy:  I think the blue would look better. IMO it photographed for the site better too. I think the pink one looked dirty because of the shading. When the pink and brown overlap it just…wasn’t pretty. I really like the shape and style of the dress and prefer the blue based on pictures.

I would actually look at patterned bridesmaid/on sale prom dresses if I were you!! I bet you could find a great white dress that would already not have a train on it for a great price!

@tulipandtummy:  Jeez I’d say to go to the department store lol. Maybe some of the ‘prom’ shops???? If you’re anywhere near Sharon, PA, I’d direct you to the Winner! I believe Jovani does a lot
