I’m so excited that I checked a few more things off the list last night that I thought I’d share and see how everyone else is doing!
-Venue & Date? CHECK!
-Dress? HECK YES! (at 40% off and already in my closet!!)
-Venue Decor/Centerpieces? YEP!
-Florist? Just waiting on the bid but we know who we’re using and we’re on their calendar.
-Guest list/Addresses? GOT IT!
-Save the Dates? MAILED!
-Grand exit planned? YEP! (Thank goodness for confetti-less poppers!)
Our cake tasting and officiant meeting are taking place next month when Fiance is home on leave. Our caterer will do a tasting after the holidays for us. But wow, getting that venue decor settled was a feat in and of itself! Our venue has been horribly unresponsive once we paid the deposit. So excited that part is done!
I’ve got all the supplies for our invites (& programs) and have started the process of making 75 belly bands so we can have an “invite stuffing/drink lots of wine” night at my mom’s house. I got the stacking boxes to make the card box. I have all the apothecary jars for the candy buffet and know where I’m getting the bulk candy. Vases are coming in for the reception centerpieces (those that aren’t supplied by the venue) next week so I can start etching and painting those pretty soon!
I know where I’m getting the photobooth backdrop and how I’m setting it up – just need to order everything and install the computer program. Thankfully my dad’s business is loaning me a spare monitor to use. 🙂
Waiting on engagement shots (next month) to finish plans for the escort table.
How are you all doing on yours? Any hurdles?

@Soon2BeMrsS: I have a lot done, what I would like to start on is invitations. I am not positive what we are doing with them yet so I should get some sort of idea. I have put off bouquets for a bit because I don’t want to risk having the fabric flowers misshape while they are laying around the house.
I also plan on painting signs soon.

@Soon2BeMrsS: I have the venue, caterers, DJ, videographer, photographer, photo booth and my dress done. I ordered my FI’s band so that’s out of the way just waiting to get it engraved. Still lots to do. flowers, centerpieces, invitations and everything else aren’t done yet. I keep telling myself have time but it seems to be going by faster and faster!

-Venue & Date? yes
-Dress? oh hell yes
-Guest list/Addresses? yes
-Save the Dates? not yet- waiting to take e-pics in January
-Invites? picked out
-Room blocks- set up
I have the Bm dresses picked out, we are going to the store in January. Tasting will be in April. We have been looking at wedding bands and I have my shoes. Still need to order welcome bags for guests in the hotel. Officiant is up in the air right now becaue of the amount of work he is expecting.

We have gotten the following accomplished:
About half of our save-the-dates sent out (took me forever to remember to get stamps lol)
Dress / jewelery (though dress still needs hemmed and…um…unwrinkled?)
Centerpieces are halfway done
Cake (being made for free by my brideslady – yay!)
Wedding rings – ordered, should be in by Christmas
We’re not having a florist or DJ so those are two things I don’t have to worry about. We’re looking at a photobooth and photographer right now, will probably get those booked next month if we decide to do them. Also trying to figure out catering – will probably DIY most of the food. Also on the agenda for next weekend is picking out the groom’s tux and getting some shoes to match my dress. Busy, busy!

Woohoo, a few more things crossed off the list!
The florist is officially on board – deposit paid.
And this gorgeous cake is 50% paid for and under contract for us!
Registering and ordering wedding bands this Friday and engagement photos and officiant on Saturday.
@tjgonzo: Congrats! Invites are a big step. 🙂 Very exciting

Oie, just keep checking things off the list. 😉 Registered. Ordered (and now have in hand) both of our wedding bands. Had our engagement photos – have a few previews but should have the final set by end of the week. Met with and booked our officiant – and it made it real so I got antsy and wrote the ceremony already. haha. Also, bought a new dress today!! Time to sell the first, but sooooooooo much happier with this one. Basically, just need to do invites and finish DIY projects but as for vendors, only need limo and hotel.
