(Closed) How are u losing weight before I do’s! HELP!

I strongly recommend tracking calories using a program like LoseIt (available online and for the iPhone/iPod Touch).  That’s what I use, and it’s the only thing that works for me to actually lose weight.  I’m trying to lose about 10 pounds for my December wedding, and I’m working out 4-5 days per week plus watching my calories.

@mrsromero2b: I tried for awhile…totally sabatoged it though :-/ and wedding is in two weeks so I’m doing a cleanse. I did the south beach diet for awhile and lost a lot of weight.

@SadieBee: I use LoseIt also, I love it! It is so awesome at helping me keep track of calories and portion control!

The app also tells you how many calories you can eat a day to reach your goal by your goal date. It really is great! I also do 30 mins of cardio plus weights 5-6 days a week.

LOTS and LOTS of water…. like a gallon a day. lol Actually you should be drinking half your weight in oz of water a day at bare minimum….

NO ADDED sugar.

Those 2 things only will help level out your water retention and your fluxuation….

No I don’t mean it in a “you’ll lose fast”… I mean this should be a lifestyle change and it will help your shape and things like bloating (which our bodies do b/c they’re dehydrated)

EDIT: Portion control in HUGE…. you should have your hand size (when extended) in veggies, your palm size in protein, and your fist in carbs (I believe this is how I was shown to keep an easy track)

I have been using The Daily Plate on Livestrong.com. I do a 40/40/20 split (40% carbs and protein and 20% fat). I do high intensity interval training and lift 3X a week (biceps/triceps, back/chest, legs) and do 45 minutes of cardio by itself 3 days a week. I’ve been doing it since February and have gone from 162 to 147 and dropped about 5% body fat. Went from a 10 to a 6.:-)

I am using Myfitnesspal to log my calorie intake as well as exercising a min of 5 days a wk.  I’ve cut out alcohol and am eating @ home 6 days out of the week.  Since its Fiance B-day wkend, I’ve blown my diet by going to Islands but you only turn 45 once.

I was always VERY thin and after college gained about 60 pounds. I do look chubby but not so overweight that I had motivation. I finally realized that I was so unhappy with how I look so I joined weight watchers three weeks ago. In the past 4 years it is the first thing I have done for more than a week and I love that I can do it online! It is working so far so good!
