We are having the flower girl dust the aisle (covered with a hand-painted runner) with green petals.  Every other row will have a tissue pomander from Pomtree on Etsy.  =)

We actually decided 20 minutes ago.

We’re making prisms like Mrs. Peach out of a white metallic linen paper and purple satin ribbon (1 1/2″) hanging them on the pews (we aren’t allowed to tape at our chapel) and then put lavender out the top. We thought it would look better with the lavender than the cones- and it’s something a little different.

I am thinking of buying these wicker hearts and decorating them with flowers, to hang over the end chairs…..

and also having an large birdcage on a stand at the alter….filled with flowers…

The garden has benches and at the end of each row it has decorative poles to hold things. I am going to pull tulle through the loops and have the poles hold the tulle all the way down to block it off. I am going to then have my hand painted aisle runner down the middle. I will also have kissing balls hanging from the poles as well. I am thinking of adding white Christmas lights too which will be wrapped on the outside of the tulle.

We are hanging mason jars tied in sheer ribbon and putting either tealight candles or fake flowers in them.

We are having a early evening ceremony where candles and christmas lights will light up the ceremony.

We’re outside and doing parasols. I suppose you could do the same inside though.

I think your idea is great!  Why don’t you tie a ribbon closing the aisle off until the wedding party enters.  This way the pew decorations don’t get knocked around since everyone will have to enter from the outside. 🙂

I personally love tissue paper bells- like seen here http://www.balloons-galore.net/pd_5_tissue.cfm – also sometimes called Westminster bells. I think they are cute and vintage (although some might argue vintage in a bad way). But to each their own. I am planning on hanging bells in my wedding colors from each chair down the aisle.

I am also considering doing something like this with fake flower petals

@Heart-Shaped-Heather:lol, I didn’t even think of that. And she could have an arbor made of ladders! And her black cat as ring bearer.

My ceremony decor is going to be very simple. Clear masons hung at the end of the pews with the flattened clear marbles inside and a battery tea light on top of the marbles. When I told Fiance about it he laughed and called it my “runway”

Mine will be simple beach decor- 2 post bamboo arch with white fabric draped across. I’m adding DIY hanging flower garlands to the arch & ribbons to the chair backs. Simple & romantic.
