We had a bus for guests to and from the hotel (about 95% of the guests stayed in the hotel) so we hopped on that because we were also in the hotel.

I think its worth it for someone to drive you, but it doesnt have to be fancy. Depending where you are could you call a cab? Or have someone drop you off it its on the way.

How far away is home from the site?

Is there a hotel really close? It could be cheaper and more fun to get a room nearby and get a ride or taxi to the hotel room for the night.

One of the groomsmen is going to be our driver. He’s allergic to alcohol so he’ll be good.

Our house is only 3 miles from the venue, so I’m getting a Lincoln Town Car for an hour or so, the car companies want you to rent a limo for the entire 6-8 hours, and that’s not happening.

Well we just drove our own little Honda Civic. (FI was drunk, I only had some wine at the very beginning of the reception so I drove). If neither of us had been sober we would have had our dads (neither of whom drink) drive us back.

We are staying at the hotel where our reception will be so it’s just a matter of walking upstairs.

We were driven home by my dad with my mom and DH’s mom also in the van. It was really nice – we reflected on the day together and then my dad helped us bring all the gifts in.

We rented a classic Rolls Royce to get home… only $75 for an hour.

A limo is picking us up to get to the venue and taking us whereever we want to go after the day is over.  It came with the venue we are doing it at so we didn’t have to worry about getting it extra.  Thank god!

We just took a cab. We were exhausted — I wouldn’tve wanted pictures anyway, and it was like an 8-minute cab ride max.
