We’re driving to the ceremony – no fancy cars or rentals…  We will prob have some people ride together, but not others.  Since we have a while to wait, we haven’t worked out the specifics yet, but I do know that’s not something we’ll be spending extra $$$ on.

We had a party bus (or big white van) that was decorated with sunflowers and ribbon and had the whole grooms party/bridal party in the van.  It was fun.

We (bride and bridesmaids) are going to ride from my mom’s house in a limo, which will drop us off at the ceremony site and then go pick up the groom and groomsmen.

My parents/grandparents/his parents are all riding in a separate limo.

Then we’re having a trolley at the end of the night which will take people back to the hotel.

A few things to consider – If you have the trolley take yourself and your bridesmaids to the ceremony location early, is there somewhere for you to hang out/be hidden from your guests?  My groom and groomsmen took the first official shuttle over to our venue so they would be there to help seat guests.

I made the decision that it was easiest to only have one company and one method of transportation and simply pay for an additional trip.

I’m staying in hotel and getting ready very near my ceremony site, so – I’ll be walking!

My mom, sister, dress and I went in one car, and my other maids went in another since we didn’t all fit in one.  We had a family friend drive us to the hotel at the end of the reception too.

i’m really liking this idea of having a limo drive the guys there and then come back and drop the ladies off… since we’ll be getting ready in houses fairly close to eachother, and the church is also close, this may be very economical!

I am getting married at Dutch Wonderland which is an amusement park like 2 hours away from my house so we are staying at the hotel right across the street. So probably driving or walking.

We took pictures prior to the ceremony, so our photographer drove us to the ceremony location! Not especially traditional or romantic, but lots of fun!

Haha…I did the exact same as baffled!  I thought I was the only one. 🙂  My only regret on that is no one got a picture of me stuffed in the photographers not horribly large car! 🙂

yeah, we’ll probably just drive up (I’d guess in our respective parents’ cars, since we’re not living there anymore, haha… nothing like having your mom drop you off to make you feel like a real adult on your wedding day!)

We’ve hired a “fleet” of 3 wedding cars for the travel to the ceremony and reception later. It’s something Mr Moo really wanted and I found a really reasonable deal on the internet with a company really near us so it worked out really well.
