Trying to find some ideas!!
Trying to find some ideas!!
Definitely my bouquet will be sitting up there, as well as my MOH’s. My table centerpieces are white Moroccan lanterns, so I’m thinking of having one on each end of the table, since I have some extras.
Also, I DIYed my table numbers, they are wooden numbers I painted from Joann’s. I’m going to make a coordinating display with our initials and a heart in between to go in the middle of the head table. “J <3 D”
Bump for more suggestions :))
I plan on having my entire bridal party and their dates all at the head table. So it’s going to be about 5 square tables lined up in a row. I’ve also made DIY candles out of some glassware that I’ve found at the local ministry shop (similar to Goodwill). These are the same candles that will be around the floral centerpieces for all the other talbes. See a glimpse of the candles I’ve made below.
I plan on finding several of the same tall glasses to use for the head table with flowers along the length of the table. See inspiration picture below (minus the flowers on every plate). I guess what I’m trying to get at is that the head table will follow the same theme as the other tables just in a little different way.
We have a friend who works at Anthropologie, so we had her get us these intitial mugs to spell out Mr. and Mrs. We’re going to fill them with flowers. Also – our head table will back up to a fireplace, so I think I’m going to make a banner/bunting out of burlap that says “Last Name est. 2011” to hang across the mantle or something. I think it’s going to be super cute 🙂
We’re doing white pottery filled with flowers all over the place, so we’ll probably have some of those, too.
I ordered 3 extra lanterns (our centerpieces) and will be alternating our bouquets with them. And, of course, orange pom-pom napkin rings & silver chair sashes.
Each centerpiece will have three mason jars with tealights ontop of a inch thick wood round. The head table will have three of these or one with a few more jars lined up 🙂
We are having a white table cloth with a damask runner to match the other tables and on each end a hurricane vase with black sand in the bottom and tall white candle inside. in the middle we got a beautiful white vintage looking low candelabra that holds 5 candles maybe some round and some tall ( have to decide) and then just my flowers and BMS.
I love all these ideas! Really good inspiration!
Im going to have flower garlands draping down the front of the head table with lots of candles in between all the flowers.
Here’s my Wedding Party table mock up that I did. The jars will run the entire length of the table and all vary in size. 🙂
The head table had a different colored tablecloth than the guest tables, but was the same as ones used for guest book table and outdoor hi-tops (ivory). Aside from the bouquets in the front, the table had 5 cracked glass candle holders and scattered ‘diamonds’, and starfish candles. (this was at the beach).
Before the bouquets were added.
This is the other wedding, and the center florals were both used for the ceremony and moved to the head table along with silver candleabras.
My biggest issue has been deciding whether I wanted a sweetheart table or headtable for the bridal party. I feel really bad about having my bridal parties dates sitting by themselves. :/
