I’m not as upset/depressed as I had thought I would be. It is a strange feeling to not have every waking moment consumed with wedding stuff.. I do miss some stuff.. I miss the excited feeling of counting down the days, or imaging what it’s all going to be like. But our day went perfectly, I have no regrets and I love being married. Luckily the summer is upon us and we’ve already made some fun plans, so that gives me stuff to look forward to.
How are you all handling it?
Just for fun.. here’s a wedding picture or two 🙂

SO PUMPED still
I can’t wait for my pro pics to be done… should be at the end of this month that I’ll get them.
My wedding was awesome. My honeymoon was awesome. My husband is the most awesome.
We still have a lot of post-wedding stuff to do – we picked up the wedding presents from my parents house this weekend and unpacked them yesterday, so we have to put them all away, write a zillion thank-yous, thank and review the vendors, etc. With the money we got in cash/checks, we’re going to buy new dining room chairs, so we have to pick them out some weekend.
We never managed to get on track with exercising regularly before the wedding, but now that it is over we have started that, so we need to keep it up.
So there’s still a lot of stuff to do!

I’m so happy to be married and done with all of that stress! Our day was perfect, I have no regrets and I don’t miss planning one bit. I finished our thank you cards this weekend. We should be getting our CD of pro pics in a few weeks, so I’m excited about that. The only thing I’m dreading right now is changing my name. Seems like too much work.

@Britt_RN: Haha yeah I’ve gotten a whole lot of “Your name is still the same on facebook!!” comments and it’s like, “Uh, yeah, that’s because I’m not changing it!” My grandmother nearly died when she overhead me telling my cousin that I’m keeping my name!

Oh I’m doing great! In the last few weeks everything has really picked up. The wedding was perfect, the honeymoon even better. Now 3 weeks and 3 days after the wedding we are discussing babies 🙂
I just miss having so much to do to fill the time. Now when I’m done cleaning I do just what I’m doing now, go online

Yes we had a great Wedding day!!! Everything went perfect! Haha we are also now talking about babies and owning a house because at the moment we are in a rental! Its weird not to be organising the Wedding as us bees have been the ones doing it all! My family were really amazed with all the extra special bits I had arranged! I can’t wait for the video and all the pro pics! Next thing to do is all the Thank you cards! That will take some time!

I just finished up the thank you cards.. waiting for him to go through them and add notes to certain ones… that’ll probably take 6 months! I want to send them out late May/early June.. so I’ve got to get one him about that!
There has been no baby discussion yet!

@X0JLYNN03: I’m a bit sad 🙁 Now I will actually have to do work at work!!! Ha!!!! But now on to our next project which is getting a house! Your pictures look great! Wow you had a large bridal party!

@sweetchiquita12: Yeah doing work @ work sucks.. but I still find time to poke around on here 🙂 Yeah we had an 18 person bridal party, but I don’t have one complaint about it, everyone got along great & behaved themselves when they needed to.. it was awesome!

Ours was fantastic too – really everything was perfect. And I didn’t want a wedding to begin with, so its saying a lot that I actually enjoyed myself. I’m so happy to be married. I love my husband so much. It still feels weird to think of him as my husband, and I have no idea when I’ll think of myself as actually being the person with this new last name. Thankfully, the name-change process was really easy, so I got that done right after the honeymoon.
No kids in our future, so nothing going there. But we did start planning our next vacation already (for October). We’ve managed to send almost all of the thank-you notes. We haven’t yet managed to buy some of the remaining stuff on the registry, with the 10% off coupon we got from Target after the wedding. Hopefully we can do that in the next week or two.
It is weird to have less to do while I’m at work. I’ve been asking for more projects just because I’m bored. And I still come here and read, even though it seems weird.
Here’s my favorite picture of the two of us that day (back-yard wedding at his parents’ place):

We had an incredible wedding day, but we are so bored now that there’s nothing to do. I’m waiting for grad school to start in the fall and looking for a full-time job, and I just feel so bored without wedding planning! But I’m so happy with the way everything turned out and I don’t really regret anything.
As for a pictures, I just posted a HUGE recap thread: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/finally-got-pro-pics-of-my-dream-wedding-back-4-14-13-super-pic-heavy#axzz2TYyCVT2B 🙂

I’m not sad, just still exhausted from it all. I still don’t really believe it happened. If anything I’m sad I had to go back to work. Haha. 😉
