We are paying for our honeymoon. We’re going on a Royal Carribean Cruise & that cost $1250.00. I’m sure we will spend about $600 on the ship but hopefully no more than that!!

Ours was $3800. My parents paid for it.

We paid for the $18,500 wedding though, so I don’t feel bad admitting my parents gifted us our honeymoon.

We still would’ve gone on the SAME vacation, though, if they didn’t reimburse us for it. We coudl afford it, but it was a nice gesture–now we’re going on a vacay in March (we’re paying) with the money we essentially saved.

My parents are kinda weird about how to spend money and are VERY anti-wedding.

My parents are generously paying for our wedding. We have hopes that J’s parents will generously pay for our honeymoon. 🙂

We’ll do it ourselves (delayed) otherwise, and mini moon right away.

My in-laws to be are paying for our trip to Europe as a wedding present for us.  If we had been paying for it ourselves there is NO WAY we would even spend close to what they are spending.

My parents have a timeshare, so we’ll be using that.

My inlaws are paying for our $5K honeymoon as our wedding gift. We wouldn’t have been able to afford going anywhere without their generous gift, so we are super grateful.

We’re paying for it, since our parents are all helping out with the wedding.

My Fiance and I are paying for our honeymoon. However since we are buying a house and trying to furnish it right now, we will probably be charging some and paying it off with wedding gifts. We never planned on doing this but my Fiance was out of work last year so we never saved as much as we wanted to.

I can’t wait to spend 2 weeks in Fiji lying on the beach!

We’re waiting a while to go so we can have a better idea of a realistic budget. We’re going to Greece and while ideally we’d like to go for two weeks, we really need to wait and see how much $ we get from the wedding to finalize the trip. We’re doing a honeymoon registry and using other wedding money, part of which will probably come from FIL’s wedding gift (which is going to be cash).

Right now, we are paying for it…I wish that someone would gift us a honeymoon! LOL! We are hoping that part of it will be offset by wedding gifts of $$$ 😉

We are planning to pay for it, but have no idea if we’ll have any money for a big vacation until wedding costs start coming in (and we see how under/over budget we are).  Even though Fiance wants to do a big trip, I think it’ll probably be more realistic to do a local trip for our honeymoon and then a big trip for our 1-year anniversary.

We are!  We’ve been saving forever so we can pay outright.

we paid for it, but we got enough cash in wedding gifts that they essentially ‘paid’ for it.
