My bridesmaids are all wearing little black dresses of their choosing (specifications included: cocktail length, solid matte black; the rest is up to them). Maid/Matron of Honor is also wearing a little black dress, but will carry a larger bouquet and wear claret red instead of black shoes. Just a couple little things but I think it will work! I didn’t want to make her buy a dress she wouldn’t rewear since all the other girls will be able to wear theirs.

She is wearing a different dress and she will also have a slightly bigger bouquet.

Mine has short, super curly hair, while the rest of the BMs have long, somewhat straight hair. I got her different earrings.

Nothing my Maid/Matron of Honor is being a bitch… No seriously!! But anyways I am getting her a bracelet to go with the neclace and earings I got all the girls. That way she can have a sparkly on her wrist as well and it will make her stand out a bit because the other girls wont have that. I was originally going to do a different dress… But I love the Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses. They are beautiful, so we just decided to have all the girls wear the same one. I thought a sash would ruin the look of the dress so I just decided to go the extra jewelry rout. At least she can use it again.

My bridesmaids all wore the same color and the same style dress, the moh wore a different style dress but in the same fabric and same color and she walked down the aisle alone but all the others walked down with the groomsmen.

they’re all wearing the same convertible dresses and i think their bouquets are the same size (i never asked!) and then i got the BMs matching earrings and the Maid/Matron of Honor some super sparkley bridal-looking earrings. we may have the BMs wear the dresses in one way while Maid/Matron of Honor wears it another – we’ll play around and see what looks good!

I only have 2 girls standing by me and they are already wearing different dresses (same color) and accessories.
My Maid/Matron of Honor is wearing a headband similar to this (not to make her stand out, it just compeletes her look) maybe you could do something in the hair?

All three of my girls are wearing a different dress, same fabric and designer, but different dress. The only thing that is really going to set her apart is that she’s walking back up the aisle with 2 groomsmen. Didn’t really ever think about doing something to set her apart….hm.

great ideas ladies, i may use the bouquet idea, i never thought about how to have them would walk down, the two adult bm(inc MOH) are couples so it make sense they walk together
i may splash out on some extra gorgeous jewellrey for her too i want her to stand out as Maid/Matron of Honor as i am so proud to have her by my side, we are so close and she is more than just a friend to me i want to be able to make a big fuss over her on this special day. thanks for the ideas again ladies

I let my girls pick their dresses (I picked the color/length), and my Maid/Matron of Honor just happened to pick a dress that has a teeny little train on the back, and the other bridesmaids picked dresses that didn’t. So, although it’s small, it’s the way she’ll be standing out. Her dress is a little more fancy (but still goes great) than the other dresses.

Same! My Maid/Matron of Honor has ringlets, and the rest have straight hair. I’m making fascinators for them all, and I’ll probably make hers a different color or bigger or something. I’m not doing all that much.

My Maid/Matron of Honor wore the same style dress just a different color from the other girls.
