So I finally have chosen which invitation I want…now I am wondering how to word the invitation?? We are inviting our guests, not our parents. What are you writing if it’s you inviting your guests to your wedding? THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

We were inviting our guests as well, so our invites said My Name & His Name, together with their families, request the honor of your presence at their wedding on Saturday, November 7th, 2009. It was an artsy-modern invitation, so we didn’t spell out 7th, like most do.

We took a line from one of our many songs as the opening (since we had the space), followed with the invite –

to your heart. (in script)
