The last few weeks have taken a toll…I honestly don’t even WANT to get on my scale!  But the day of reckoning draws closer, so I must.  I WAS at -13 pounds before last week.  I need to check tomorrow – thanks for the reminder!

I’m ramping up my workout (30 day shred and running) but haven’t lost any weight since the beginning of this year!!   Frown  I’m taking measurements every so often though so hopefully I’ll see some progress there.

Slow but steady is good! Keep it up. I don’t think I’ve actually lost any weight according to my scale, but I know I’m building muscle mass. And I think my clothes fit better, so that’s a plus.

I’m just proud of myself for not “falling off the wagon” – which is what the pushy employee dude at our gym told my fiance and me, when we joined in March. He was trying to get us to sign up for personal trainers. Guess no one told him that rude comments like that don’t work so well!

Yep, it sucks but slow and steady is definitely the way to go.  From what I’ve seen, those who tend to lose weight quickly will also put the weight back twice as fast.

I haven’t lost any weight either, according to my scale.  I do feel much more toned in certain areas and Fiance says he sees the change.  Hoping I’m putting on muscle to account for why my weight hasn’t changed despite all the hard workouts.

Keep up the good work and don’t lose faith!

Well I’m not actively trying to lose weight, although I should be! I’ve tried everything for my whole life. Nothing seemed to keep my interest.

Then a few weeks ago, I started thinking. What was it that I really hated about working out? And I figured out that when I realize that I am working out (ie, am conscious of it) then I hate it. Basically I get bored running on a treadmill because I know how hard I’m working and I start to feel sorry for myself and talk myself out of it.

So I decided to start doing things that were fun and healthy. I’ve started riding horses again, which I did as a child and is a SERIOUS workout! And I’m playing tennis with a friend twice a week. When I don’t “realize” I’m working out, I work out longer and have a better time. Just something that seems to be working for me lately.

Slowly, but surely.

Actually, I think it’s just hard to see a difference for me. Well, me looking at me. I’ve dropped 2/3 sizes, so that’s pretty encouraging. It just sucks that muscle weighs more than fat, or at least scale wise. :p

My weight loss efforts are not going very well at all! I just posted in the wellness section about this, not realizing there was a fitness section. I haven’t been motivated at all to DO anything. It’s terrible, and my current work situation is not helping at all. Sigh.

I swear for me, it’s not about going to the gym at all. It’s all about what I eat and of course, this being summer, I’m not wanting to limit or restrict myself at all. Here’s hoping the winter kicks my butt into being a better eater!

Ugh, but with winter comes holiday parties and sweet things. I need to stay far, far, far away from those.
