Oh so tempting, but don’t do it!  Save it for the big day!!!  It makes it more special.  I made the hubs let us try our rings on several times before the wedding, but we never left them on more than a few seconds.  You don’t have too long to wait.

I don’t know that it is bad, but try to wait. Consider it an exercise in patience. Like Heathaah said, it will make wearing it once you’re official even more exciting.

You can obviously do whatever you want, but I wouldn’t do it!  It’s your wedding ring!  It’s a symbol of your vows and the commitment you make on that day–it’s not just any piece of jewelry, even though I’m sure it’s gorgeous!  Try to wait, I know it’ll be hard, but I think it will be worth it, and make it even more special and exciting when it finally gets slipped on your finger!

I wore my band for a few hours when we first bought it, but Fiance made me take it off before we went to bed and as much as I want to wear it now, I think he made a good call.  It probably won’t be the same on the big day if you wear for the months leading up to it.

I have an alexandrite pendant–I love it! I rarely wear it though. It’s bluey-purple.

Eh, wear it if you want. =]

I know when we buy our wedding rings that it is going to be super hard for me to wait too! 4 months isn’t so long though, especially if you’ve already waited so long for it. I’m really bad at keeping gifts secret, so when I bought my FI’s wedding gift, I gave it to my brother to hold onto. That way, I won’t be tempted to show him early.

If I were you, I’d buy another alexandrite! Treat yourself and end the temptation. πŸ˜›
