None at all! My belly looked exactly the same for my first 2 pregnancies and the first was a boy and the second was a girl.

I’m nearly 6 month pregnant with a boy and I have the smallest bump of anyone I know. Most of my extra weight has gone onto my thighs. Strangers can’t tell I’m pregnant. This is all the total opposite to a ‘boy bump’ that’s supposed to be round and stick out. Your body shape and uterus shape will determine what shape you become whilst pregnant. Strong stomach muscles will also keep a bump from jutting out.

If you had IVF, it’s even more likely it’s a boy as IVF does produce a higher rate of boys.

I’m team green and the old wives tales have split 50/50. My friends second she had the roundest ball of a bump completely different from her first daughter so she was so convinced it was a boy. Right up until the girl popped out. I think it just depends how you carry!

You can’t tell that way, anyone who got it right is just anecdotal because it’s 50/50 anyway.

Your body size (weight and height) ab muscles affect how you carry.

weightwatchers152 :  when my mom was pregnant with me everyone was CERTAIN I would be a boy because I was a high basketball all out in front of her and my older sister had been more evenly distributed and lower. It’s all made up, but since we aren’t finding out the gender it has been funny to listen to people make guesses based on old wives tales. I’ve been craving spicy food and have been told with confidence by two different people that it was a certain gender because of those cravings…but one said boy and one said girl! hahaha
