@tomiko:  i have a 3 ct moissanite on a size 3.75-4 finger! I think it is a perfect size (imo, not too big, not too small, but I definitely wouldn’t mind having a 3.5 or 4 ct size lol!) I think anything bigger that 4 carats though is too much for the average person wearing an elongated stone every day

I have tried in a 3.5 carat round natural diamond and it did not look anything like costume jewelry. I have a 6 carat natural diamond pear and it doesn’t look like costume jewelry either.   I think it would look absolutely lovely!  Check at bee: Sunburn. She has a 4.5 carat round that is to die for.  Just get what you want.

@ricli:  You’ve been pulling up a LOT of old posts today. This one is from a year ago, OP hasn’t posted a single thing since and has likely had her ring for quite some time now.

Why the fuck are we bumping 1 year old threads?

@beethree:  Well I guess I didn’t read the Weddingbee Rule Book or clearly missed the chapter that censored me from commenting on subjects that interest me.

@ricli:  This isnt a wb rule or censorship, its common courtesy and well known forum etiquette. Do better bee.

@skuzzlebutt:  LOL. Quite frankly, with all the shit that goes wrong on this site, the bumping of a 1 year old thread shouldn’t even register on the annoyance meter. The ones who need to “do better” are the people who run this site. And seriously, membership on this forum is at an all-time low, so chiding someone on etiquette – when nothing rude was done – is really unnecessary.

@sunburn:  sure wb also needs to do better, but her attitude to someone pointing out bumping zombie threads was actually rude. Claiming ‘censorship’ while asking to follow basic internet form is reminiscent of science deniers bitching about getting posts fact checked on fb 🤦‍♀️. Apologizing for not knowing or something would have gone over fine. But I guess you feel the need to defend her since likes your ring? Lol 🙂

@skuzzlebutt:  I actually posted to you before I read ricli’s post, so my ring had nothing to do with it. I’m just trying to stop people from leaving the board because of an unpleasant experience. There are so few posters now, and I can’t help but feel that a large % of new posters are trolls. We can’t afford to alienate a good poster for something that I consider to be a minor offense.  I thought you came on a little strong, that’s all.

Look, we *all* can do better, myself included.

@sunburn:  That’s absolutely fair, and I could have left out the last line in my post. It was a bit strong you are right. It was like the 10th thread she bumped so I’m sure that clouded my posting judgement a bit! I appreciate your kind response and explanation.

@skuzzlebutt:  Totally understandable, and I’ve done the same thing myself on more than one occasion. Take care.
