This is really dependent on where you live. I’m in Chicago and even in an urban area, I still feel like my stone is rather large compared to other girls’ rings. Whereas, it would probably be average or just right in a big city like NYC…

2.5 ct. center

My e-ring is an emerald cut solitaire, 1.15 carats. We’re thinking of either upgrading the stone or the setting to a three stone ring.

My center stone is .75 (actually I think it’s like .72 or .73 total – it’s just easier to say 3/4 of a carat) but with the side stones it’s 1 carat total weight. I live in NJ and for most of the women around here, my ring is on the smaller side. Average size around here (being that I am so close to staten island) it’s like MIN. 2  – 3 carats for an e-ring. I guess (lucky for me lol) I have small fingers, I think I play off my e-ring quite well if I don’t say so myself! hahaha plus, my wedding band is 1 carat total weight (half round diamond eternity band) so all together I’m going to have 2 carats on my hand and I feel like that’s already TOO much has it is.

Mine is a 2.34 round cut center diamond with another 1/2 carat on the sides and within the setting. It is Tacori and I ADORE it!

1.81 ct but I sacrificed color ๐Ÿ™‚ I made the choice…he was willing to go with whatever I wanted within our price limit. He is SO good with my expensive hobby (granted, I had the horses before we met) but they do take away quite a lot of our disposable income. We would live a much “richer” life in terms of monetary means, but those animals make our lives rich in ways material things cant ๐Ÿ˜‰

2.25 ct Round Brilliant put in an heirloom setting. not sure about the two small guys on each side.

I apologize for the dry, sad looking state of my hands.  Such is the life of a nanny.

Mine is just over 3 carats TCW.  The round center stone is 1.5 and the surrounding band is another 1.5+ (there are diamonds on the side and underneath which you can’t see)

I have no idea of the REAL size of my diamond because my FH tells me it’s not important, but my guess is 1.5-2. My finger is a size 7
