I’m not a momma yet (won’t be for several years) but my mother had 3 kids and we were 9+, 7+, and 7+ oz. My brother was carried full term (he was the one over 9oz) and my sister and I were each 3 weeks early, so we woulda been up there at full term as well. Some people just have large babies!!

Not a mum yet, but my sister had my nephew at 41 weeks and he was 11lbs. He was so big, his collarbone was broken during delivery. My sister regretted not having a c-section.

My first was 9lbs 12oz at birth. He was delivered by c-section.
My next one (due in June) may be the same, or less. I’m hoping for less! I have to have a c-section anyway…

I had to have a csection because I stalled at 7cm and they found out she was breech and had a bowel movement from the distress. I wish they had found out 15hrs earlier too.LOL

Oh wow, the front seat of the car?? I was almost born on the side of the highway during rush hour…it’s a fear of mine.

Our son was 9lbs 2oz at birth. At our last ultrasound they estimated he would be about 7.5 pounds! Not very accurate I guess. No medications for his delivery and we did just fine. He just weighed in at 20 lbs even at his 4 month visit. He’s 27 inches which is very long for his age too.

I’m getting scared reading this thread!
DH and I were both small (5 lb) babies….I’m hoping for a 6 pounder….anything over 7 scares me!!

DS was 8lbs 2oz and sunny side up – wouldn’t fit coming out so they cut me sideways, oww!! He’s perfect though 🙂

DS was 8lbs and awesome. I had him in a German hospital so they told us the weight in grams. I had to wait until I was on the phone with my parents who were in the states and ask them to figure out how many pounds he was!
