I’m just wondering how much stuff is there to do, finalise in the days leading up to the big day? I’m sure all brides would like to have everythign done with plenty of time to spare – but realistically – what is there to do??
I’m going away for xmas, & need to organise my flight back – i was considering the 29th (wedding on the 31st) but worried i’ll need more time…but unsure for what. I would hate to be sitting around doing nothing when i could enjoy the xmas break for a little longer..
(I have no diy to do)

I didn’t have anything to do the last few days. I’d put together the favors and did the place cards the week or two before. The only thing I had to do was make sure to bring everything I wanted to have set up to the rehersal dinner at the venue to give the day of coordinator. We had the Bridesmaid or Best Man fly in a week early and stayed with us at the house the entire week, his sisters family came and stayed 4 days before the wedding, and his parents and aunt/uncle were here the two nights before that so we were just entertaining people for the week leading upto the wedding.

I thought I would be fine, but I was so glad my boss made me take off the Friday before my wedding (we got married on a Sunday). I ended up dropping a bunch of stuff off at the venue and picking up all the candy for the candy table that day. Plus, it gave me time to hang out with my grandmother, who I don’t get to see too often.

I took the week off before. I put my M&M’s in their boxes with one of my bridesmaids and got my nails done. Annnnnnnnnnd that’s it. Beyond that I hung out around the pool and visited with out of towners that came in early.

I’m not really expecting anyone to come any earlier than the 29th…
decided we won’t have any favors – so that rules that out.. maybe will have to drop things off at the venue?
