I was just looking at diamonds online. I found a GIA-certified Diamond 0.47 ct with excellent cut. When i looked at diamdb.com, they said the diamond is borderline spread cut. It faces up like a 0.50. I for sure won’t buy the diamond, but i don’t understand how spread cut diamonds can be classified as excellent? Can someone explain this to me? Thank you!
