I have been obsessing over how to close my pocketfolder invitations in a way that can be opened and closed multiple times.
I don’t want to just tie the ribbon, b/c I wanted to put this sanddollar in the middle. so the ribbon is just glued down (also any ideas on the best glue to use on ribbon?)
I thought of magnets, but they are very expensive.
Any ideas? thanks!

I just used paper and made it loose enough that it could slide off and on…

How about a little square of velcro? you can buy a strip and cut a small piece off. Its pretty cheap

I used a paper bellyband as well.

Use the ribbon but make it just loose enough that it can slide on and off. Or if you are afraid of it moving around too much then try a little but of velcro. You could also make it just look like it is a belly band but can actually be opened and seperated all one piece. Not sure if that made sense. I am such a visual person!

You can use rubber cement – let it dry to tacky before closing the pocketfold, it will retain some of its stickiness, so it can be opened and closed multiple times. If you close it while totally wet, it will tear the pocketfold when opened.
