- Wedding: February 2013
‘My Future Mother-In-Law has a favourite song, it was actually her mothers favourite song and I would like to have it in my wedding somehow.
The song is “Tiny Bubbles” by Don Ho (it is a hawaiian oldies song).
We are having champagne, and I thought that would be a good time to play it, but I just dont know when exactly.
I also thought that between the ceremony and reception (were not having dinner), that we could play some oldies music…to go with that. I also want to play “Hawaiian Wedding Song” By Elvis because my dad made it a part of my brothers wedding. So Im not sure.
The ceremony we are having country songs, then the reception were going to have like party songs (We want everyone to have FUN). Would it be strange to have oldies for the hour between our ceremony and reception, when we will have a champagne toast, mingling, our version of the recieving line, etc? These songs mean alot to us, and I feel the older guests would appriciate them!
