I would have the DJ make an announcement at some point, you choose the time. Or if you are doing a thank you speech, you can add it at the end.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  Do you know their first dance song. You could play that and have them dance to it. Or just dedicate it to them! Or if they don’t have a first dance song, one that they love

I love the first dance song! I have also heard if someone special is having an  anniversary to give the woman the tossing bouqet instead of having a toss and explain why she deserves it 🙂

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I think it would be sweet to give them a first dance! I like the bouquet idea too!

@HappilyEverAfter54:

Or, you could make a toast, have the DJ play a special song for them and perhaps have a wedidng photo of theirs on the cake/flower/guestbook table?

And then you can drink.

I think they would much prefer the sentiment coming from you and not a stranger.

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I think it would be adorable. It makes me wish that I still had grandparents I could be cute with. It’s just my grandma now, and she would kill me if I put her in the center of attention in any way! lol

@HappilyEverAfter54:

I think that would be awesome actually. Would you have your grandparents dance before or after your first dance?

@HappilyEverAfter54:  I think your idea of the dance after yours, then giving her the bouquet is perfect! Maybe you can find what songs were popular the year they got married and play one of those songs.
