Dress: Avril by Rue de Seine
Venue: Leo Carillo Ranch in Carlsbad, CA (San Diego)
I’m trying to think of bohemian decorations I can incorporate at the venu to match the boho-ness of my dress. So far I’ve brainstormed adding pampas grass to the floral arrangements but I’m at a loss with other ideas. Do I need bohemian rugs for the ceremony space or aisle? How else can I make the venue more boho? Any ideas are appreciated!

bohocatbride : Your dress is amazing!
I think your venue already has that vibe you are going for. You can hire some rugs to throw around for a bit of colour – you can get some amazing glass lanterns/candle holders. Colourful flower petals look great, thrown down by the flowergirl or thrown by guests. Feathers would look good in your flower arrangements.
I think for a boho vibe – mismatched and colourful are your friend. Any decoration that looks too coordinated will not hit the mark. A nice bonus is it means you can go for things you like without worrying to omuch whether it goes with anything else.

Rugs are a great idea. In terms of colors, I would go with very rich, deep colors; pastels don’t communicate boho.

Hang a swing like this from your tree only higher up to use as an backdrop for the ceremony.. You can lower it after the ceremony for pics

Love these suggestions! I would add that putting a Macrame at your alter would definitely help create a boho vibe!
