Wedding is on the 26th of this month – and it has not sunk in yet!!! Did anyone else feel in denial about how soon the wedding was as it got closer? If so, what are some things you did to help it “sink in” and feel more real, and enjoy it?? I feel like time is just flying and I can’t make it stop, everything’s a blur!

It didn’t feel real for me until the day before when I went to set up the room. It was crazy to see it all ready to go. Now that we are seven months past it, it feels like it was just a dream. It all goes by so fast!

@Birdee106: I agree, it didn’t seem real until I was actually DOING stuff for it in the days before, I compared it to Christmas, ever since I became a grown up I’ve lost the ability to be excited for things that far in advance!

I agree… It didn’t feel real for me until I left work after my last day. That night when people started arriving from out of town and the next day when I got my nails done and we had our rehearsal dinner, it really sunk in.

@trustingbride: I’m still very early on in this process: he bought my ring last week but hasnt proposed yet, yet I bought my dress this weekend :-p Buying my dress hasnt made all of this seem “real” yet, and I’m wondering if my ring will…but I could easily see me being a gal who it didnt sink in for until that day 🙂
