Why not have small business card sized place cards and add the chips when you get there?  Or buy some online and do it before… I just googled personalized poker chips and found a few sites:

You could attach the chips with a double stick tape or glue dot and even have them with a magnet so guests could keep them…

Also, if you want them to have your hotel’s name, maybe they can help you with that.  They probably have a promo type thing that maybe you can have them order. So cute! [attachment=157125,9302] [attachment=157125,9303]

Can you maybe write on chips with a marker pen?  Or attach some sort of flag to it like people do with dessert flags?

You could make the place card (like a piece of paper with the name and table on it) and affix the poker chip to the card. OR, you could have each chip have a different number, or casino on it, so each different casino is a different table. it could be super cute if you used differet colors and names!!

I like the idea of having a business card-sized paper with the person’s name on it and simply affixing the chip with a piece of double sided tape. Voila! Easy placecard AND favor!

What about making a tent card style escort card, and putting a glue dot to affix the chip to the card?

I think a sharpie marker would write on a poker chip…as long as you can write small enough to fit the person’s name….then instead of writing the table name along with it, you could have a tables board with the names listed under it. I am considering this idea as well. Even though I am not getting married in Vegas, my fiancee and I love games and we are using gaming ideas throughout the reception!

Print guests names on pretty paper, and punch out the circles using martha stewart or fiskars circle punch and just xyron them to stick to the poker chips! I think the poker chip place card idea is great!
