(Closed) how can we include small children in ceremony… any ideas

Honestly, at that age, they are not going to “participate” in the sense of having any idea what is going on.  The 2½-year-old might conceivably be a ring bearer if a) you have someone up front that he would be willing to walk to, b) you don’t entrust him with the real rings, and c) he doesn’t happen to be having a bad day that day.  The 9-month-old would have to be carried by someone.

Probably your best bet would be just to dress them up for pictures, but not try to get them to do anything in the ceremony itself.
