    @linnylou_88:  I try not to post anything incriminating about myself/my life because of my ex, who tends to stalk me

    @linnylou_88:  I’ve been away for a while. What happened?

    I don’t worry too much about it. It wouldn’t be hard for anyone to know who I am if they already know me. If someone doesn’t know me already it wouldn’t be very hard to find out, pull up my website, and see other info about me. My family and actual locaton are not as easy to get to so that makes me happy.

    I don’t post anything I would be upset about someone seeing though

    Eh, I don’t post anything incriminating and I’m pretty PG. My post don’t get a lot of comments anyway. I guess I think I’m more interesting than people on the Internet do.

    I’m in the middle I guess, I mean I don’t give out my address or phone number. I’m sure almost anyone could find my facebook if they wanted to though. But that’s somewhat private so it doesn’t worry me.

    I’ve never been too terribly careful, but you also couldn’t find my house or something like that without some seriously creepy research.

    @Omgbunnies:  Nona99 left.

    I don’t post pictures of myself or loved ones, and I don’t use real names. I have posted my city, but you’d have to go through individual posts to find it. I’ve always followed these rules.

    Even with that I’m sure if anyone wanted to find my identity, I’m sure they could if they tried hard enough.

    ETA: Every couple months I also make routine searches on my usernames and my real name to see what comes up, and I will modify what I post as a result. I also don’t use just one username so that all my accounts cannot be linked together.

    I don’t post pics or too much identifying info just because I do want to keep my worlds seperate, but I’ll tell you something, there’s nothing on here that would embarrass me if Fiance were to read it, except that I can get a bit mushy about him sometimes (I find it easier to compliment people to a third party rather than directly). He knows my username, and he often watches me post. He often gives suggestions (usually great ways to get myself banned if I’d follow them, lol).

    And anyone else stumbling across here who’d recognize me, if I’ve mentioned them, I doubt anything I wrote here would surprise them. They’ve almost certainly heard it from me directly before too, and if not, well, I guess it’s time they knew. It woudn’t be an OH EM GEE disaster.

    I prefer my “worlds” to be seperate, it’s just simpler that way – mostly because of work. The professional version of “me” has to be somewhat bland. It’s not my idea, or because I have something I’m ashamed of, it’s just the way of the work world. My worlds do “match up” though, you know what I mean?

    As the victim of a violent crime, and the perpetrator was found to be soliciting from his prison cell for someone to finish the job – I definitely keep my anonymity online.  No Facebook, no Skype, no instant messaging.  I had dated this person for a few months before his possessive behaviour became overbearing, I had sent a lingerie picture to him via email once.  That picture became pivotal in the court case a year later and was photocopied and handed out to the jury as part of the smear campaign against me. So glad I had lived a squeaky clean existence and that was the worst the defense could do even after subpoening my entire computer.
