Spotless! Our house is always clean and clutter free.

Fairly clean, nothing a quick pick up couldnt fix.

Clean but a little cluttered. It would take some time to sort everything out.

It needs a clean and to be órganised.

It needs a MASSIVE clean and massive decluttering.

At this point it would be easier to move.

Ours is a mess right now because we’re in the middle of a couple of renovation projects. So, dust everywhere and lots of things out of place so we can paint, hang drywall, etc. But other than the dust it’s clean–i.e., I’ve still scrubbed down the bathroom and the kitchen.

Mine is in between a quick pick up and a little cluttered. FH and I moved into this house in late May and it’s taken a while to get things sorted. We still have some things to grab from the old place but our schedules don’t really allow for trips just any time. The living room, kitchen and master bedroom all stay pretty clean as well as the bathrooms (save mine, there are still some boxes in there), but it’s nothing a quick pick up wouldn’t fix. One of the other bedrooms is a bit different though. We kind of made it a storage room for old boxes, and I still have four boxes left to unpack. It’s not so much clutter as it is I work late and I’m tired when I get home.

Dh and I keep our downstairs rooms fairly clean. These include the powder room, kitchen and living room. Our entrance way, which is down a flight of steps is usually a disaster due to shoes and cat’s litter box in the furnace room. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms look like the tasmanian devil lives there at the moment. Time to clean!

our house.. well lets just say before me and my husband got together he lived in his house alone,he works alot. so he would work, drink, sleep. and before that he had a girlfriend that didnt do anything but sit on her butt and watch tv. (no work, no cooking, no cleaning) so when i moved in i had alot of picking up to do. the house has changed alot since we have been together. (cleaning & decorations) we have two dogs so that doesnt help the matter. plus husband works on the railroad so when he comes home hes always messy. theres nothings too out of hand. mostly just always alot of laundry and since the dogs are always sheding and playing, i always need to sweep and dust. i wish i had someone come clean the house but im not working (since being pregnant) so i guess ill clean everyday ! ughh. ha

“Needs a clean and organize!” I’m normally super organized, but in a cluttered, chaotic way. We’ve definitely outgrown this apartment, and there’s not a whole lot of storage space/options, unfortunately. I always talk about deep cleaning, but then I think, “It’s just going to get dirty again.” Also, beige carpet + two black cats.

in the middle.  Good Housekeeping wouldn’t do a spread, but we wouldn’t show up on Hoarders either

Ours is really clean at the moment.  Two weeks ago, we pulled up the carpet in 90% of our home and started refinishing the original hardwood floors.  Our house was built in 1940, so this was a huuuuge job.  Most of the floor was covered in old black glue (wish we could slap the people who glued down carpet at some point!).  The sanding created a huge mess and we were basically living out of two rooms for over a week.  We finished early last week, so we spent all of last weekend cleaning everything and buying new window treatments for 75% of the house.

Our house is usually in the ‘Fairly clean, nothing a quick pick up couldnt fix’ category.  Clutter drives me nuts and I’m a bit of a neat freak (thanks to my mom!), so it doesn’t usually get very out of control.
