I took mine off after dinner. :/  I probably should have broken them in better, but they were ivory with a pretty fluffy flower on them so I was worried about getting them dirty or smushed.

My 3″ heels hurt like hell BUT I didn’t feel a damn thing until the second the wedding was over, just from a sheer happiness high. Also, they were way too narrow and squeezed my toes, I find it’s not the height of heels that usually hurts, but rather the fact that most heels seem to be super narrow in the toe box for some reason (yet flats aren’t, makes no sense), and I have a wide toe box. But, as I said, I thought I’d throw them off after the first dance, but didn’t feel a thing. And I only had a sip of champagne all night! lol. My feet wanted to die the next morning though.

I wore 3.5 inch heels and was fine. The key to being comfortable is bringing a pair or two to change into, which is what I did. I had regular heels for the wedding, then I changed into wedges for the reception and another pair of wedges for later in the night. Each time my feet hurt, putting on a different pair of shoes really helped.

I had on 3.5 inch heels the entire day and they were perfectly comfortable.  I also wear heels daily though so my feet are used to it.  If you never wear heels, you’ll probably want to be out of them rather quickly.  Can you get heels to wear daily to get your feet used to it?

My heels were over three inches and they were super painful! I know that your heels will be lower, but if you aren’t used to wearing heels, you may end up feeling the same. I’m used to wearing heels but most of the heels I have do have a platform in the front (at least a small one). My wedding shoes had no platform in the front, whih made them hard to wear. I put them on at about 1:00 and by around 4:30 they were really killing me. During the ceremony my feet went numb. I did have platform sneakers with me to put on for the dancing, so I changed into those immediately after the ceremony. Definitely wear them around a lot first and let your feet get comfortable/break them in.

My heels are 4.5″, and I’m obsessively trying to break them in!

I bet your 3″ will be super comfy, though!

I’m a huge heel supporter.  Find a heel w/ a platform in the front, even a small one.  Wear the fun heels for pictures, ceremony, and cocktail hour but after dinner swap them for a platform flip flop if your feet are killing you.  If you stop in a shoe store like DSW, they have different techniques on how to keep your feet from blistering.
