MemberDepending on the size if your veil i think you dan put is lower on your head but still over the main curls in the back. I am planning a loose updo like that as well. i am planning on putting the veil right over the main curls in the back. I HATE it when veils come out underneath hair. i feel like it looks like it is being pooped out. Sorry if you like that look. But i think it will still look fine to be over the curls.
Just my opinion. 🙂

MemberI’ll third still putting it on top. I also really dislike the look of veils coming out of the bottom of a hairstyle.
Memberim doing my hair the same way and have a really really simple veil that is going to be right over the curls. i also have a hair flower so i plan on removing the veil after the ceremony. not going for my trial til end of august or i would post pics!
MemberI think either on top or under the curls is fine. I know a few brides on here said they didn’t like that look, but I like it either way. Love the hairstyle though…very romantic!

I was totally debating this in my head too. I really don’t like the look of a “hair poop” veil either! I’m just hoping that my stylist will be able to come up with something to make the veil work above the curls. Were you planning on wearing a tiara??
Memberno tiara, for when I showed the stylist she said it would take away from the look. i got a really cool floral piece though! 🙂

MemberI agree with putting it top (crown area) and wearing medium sized earrings and perhaps some bling in your hair (pins, ect). Pretty hairstyle!
MemberI’d say at the crown of your head, or underneath all those beautiful curls! =]
But a fascinator might look great with this style too! =]
