I am finally finished with the registries and wedding website. My Fiance was so excited he told his entire family and they all immediately got online and began viewing everything. LoL They have signed the guestbook and RSVP(ed). I wanted to know how do other brides get the news out about their website.
My family is a little behind. Sooner than later hopefully alot of people will see the site and start sharing…. I enjoyed reading others thoughts on the wedding and how excited they are. Hopefully it kicks off soon.

I had it on my RSVP card in my invites and sent it to friends/family via email before that.

We included the link on our Save The Date cards, so people found it that way.

I had it in the save the dates as well as the invites. We did online RSVP’s and I wanted people to know that they could find out more information via the website! 🙂
From the way people talked and the amount of online RSVP’s, I’d gather that it got used a fair amount! 🙂

I created a group specifically for my wedding party/family on Facebook. Granted my wedding is awhile away so I also plan to put it on the Save-The-Date Cards for other guests to be able to view.

We had it at the bottom of our invites since they’d be sending back their RSVP’s and probably would buy gifts AFTER they sent back the cards.

Although our wedding website was on our STD and on our invitation, we will still be sending out a reminder email for people to check it out.
This is due to people needing to RSVP and I don’t want people forgetting to RSVP.

Our website was on an insert card in the invitation. Guests were directed there to RSVP.

What all do you put on your website? Fiance is a graphic designer, and I’d like to show him some ideas. Most of the people coming aren’t tech inclined but I think it’d be something nice to look back on and stuff.
