I am making them boxes with a robe, hanger, bag, and a bunch of little things and pictures of us.I bought these to actually ask them with so they will open these first! https://www.etsy.com/listing/245242706/will-you-be-my-bridesmaid-message-in-a?ref=listing-shop-header-0

And Yay someone else with a matron of honor and a maid of honor! I could not decide between my future sister in law and my best friend I can’t wait to have them both help me!

And I went to thorntons and got personalised bars with bridesmaid on for the little ones x

lucyspnz:  i did the box! I tried not to spend too much so I got boxes from Michaels, just wooden ones with a latch, and painted them each differently. i used Pinterest to find cu sayings & did a different one for each like “I have my mister but i need my sister” & other ones similar. then when they opened them, I had painted “will you be my bridesmaid?” on the inside. Also from michaels, I found tank tops that say “team bride” on them for only $2! I put those in them & a thing of bubbles becahse we’re doing a bubble send off, and a letter to each of them inside, & their favorite candy. i surprised them with them & they loved it!

I bought a bottle of wine for each lady. I create a label that covered the label on the bottle with their name and it said “will you be my bridesmaid” on it. We’re big on wine.

I asked my matron of honour in person and the other via email (due to long distance) and of course, asked her again via Skype when we finally got the thing working!

I asked them all with an Engraved necklace, a card, and a bottle of champagne I spray painted and dipped in glitter 😊

I am doing something different for each bridesmaid.

For my girlfriends from college, we shared so much over coffee dates – so I’m asking them over coffee, with a nice card that says how much I care about them.

I have a group of four girlfriends where they’re a package deal – I couldn’t have one without the others. I made dinner and gave them all a card, and it was a total hit.

And last, but not least, I’m driving 8 hours with my fiance to surprise my future Maid/Matron of Honor. We see each other once or twice a year, and I am SO excited.

It’s meant so much, though, to tailor how I ask to each person and make sure it’s individualized. Don’t stress out too much over having a Pinterest-worthy photo at the end; it’s more than that! 🙂

I found a white photobox from JoAnn’s ($3) and filled it with Spanish moss ($4 — but it covered 2 boxes), put a mini bottle of champagne in it ($5), and got an engraved champagne glass from Things Remembered ($13). Total cost of each box was about $23. It was easy, looked really cute, and they loved it! I’m all about things that can be reusable… Granted, having a champagne glass with your initial on it might be more for decoration than anything at this point, I didn’t want to give them something they would just throw away. Good luck!

bridesmaidI used these cute personalized “Will you be my…” cards from Etsy. I saved the Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts for the Bachelorette weekend and the wedding day itself.

lucyspnz :  made them candles. also, sent my Maid/Matron of Honor a Dammit Doll along with the candle.image12image14ETA: we asked my MOH’s husband to be our officiant, hence the “will you do us the honor of getting us hitched card” that was in the package in the bottom photo

I had seen the bridesmaids boxes but I wanted somethign a little different too!

I ordered big things of blue hydrangeas sent to thier offices. The note on them was technically anonymous – just had a shortened bit.ly link on the card. But the link was to the “Wedding Party” section of our wedding website with thier names listed as Bridesmaids “if she accepts?!?!”

The girls all loved it and happily accepted!

Also, I did warn thier respective significant others of my plan and in the minutes between recieving the flowers and entering the link, every one of them texted or called thier SO to ask if they had sent them flowers. 😛
